Do Your Dream

I come from a family of dreamers. People with big plans and by God's grace and goodness have found success with those dreams being fulfilled. I am surrounded by a community that dreams. People who fiercely pursue those dreams to the ends of the earth all the while taking risks. I know what the Lord says about me and about the plans and dreams he has for my life - for all of our lives.

But for whatever reason this summer I found myself being fearful of the dreams inside of me. This fear caused me to suppress those wants and desires out of an idea that they would never come true because of a lack of experience, resources and natural skill. Thankfully the Lord did not keep me in that place of fear, but quickly reminded me of truth.

This fall I decided to no longer let those fears keep me silent - to keep me from dreaming and fulfilling my purpose in this life. I entered into a new chapter of dreaming and saying yes to adventure! This blog has been one of those dreams, but I've always been too scared to truly pursue it. But here I am - saying yes to my dreams and watching them take root and become a reality.
