Adventures at Turkey Creek

Yesterday some friends and I ventured to Turkey Creek Nature Preserve. I had never heard of Turkey Creek until recently and was so excited to go spend the day outside! It was such a fun day of hammocking, floating down the creek, getting sun & being with sweet friends. If you live in the Birmingham metro area and have never been to Turkey Creek make plans to go this summer. It is such a gem hidden away in our back yard. For more info check out their blog!

Fun fact about Turkey Creek -- it is home to 3 endangered species of fish. One of which (the Vermilion Dater) occurs only in Turkey Creek and nowhere else in the world!
